Throughout the course of the 18 / 24-month program based in
Germany you will experience new challenges, exciting opportunities
and the chance to network internationally. The program will give
you an in-depth insight into our business and help you to explore
and further develop your expertise. Individual mentoring and a
buddy from day one will give you the best possible foundation for
the next step in your career at Uniper! 

Your qualifications:

• A successfully completed degree focusing on economics,
  engineering or science
• Interested in getting a good understanding of Uniper’s
  business
• Relevant internships and/or working student placements,
  operational knowledge in a thermal power plant or similar scale
  assets and/or experience in delivering projects and change
  programmes would be beneficial
• Show your technical and operational expertise as well as your
  entrepreneurial thinking
• A strong will in taking over responsibility and improving
  structures and processes
• Strive to work together in teams and very good communication
  skills
• Experience working in an international environment with
  cultural diversity desirable
• Highly proactive and mobile with a hands-on and self-reflective
  personality
• Very good written and verbal English language skills as well as
  being fluent in German language 

Your responsibilities:

• Within the Uniper Trainee Program, you will have to chance to
  explore our company and to work in various business
  departments
• There is the chance to conduct placements outside of your area
  of expertise and help you explore your strengths
• You will support power plants and the central performance
  management teams in the implementation of global processes
• You will work collaboratively with other functional units to
  assure asset optimization, continuous improvements and delivery of
  business strategies to benefit Uniper
• You will learn about the challenges, opportunities and further
  developments of major assets by getting directly
  involved
