Infrastructure Specialist – Data Platforms (f/m/d) (Frankfurt)

Deutsche Börse Group. StatistiX® provides external and internal
users worldwide with statistical information on financial markets,
offers Data Store Services and acts as Business Intelligence and
Risk Analytics platform of Deutsche Börse Group. You will part of a

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Analyse any issue in terms of failure or performance on
  both, DWH and Data Platform stack.
• Maintain existing stacks in terms of vendor upgrades
  beyond OS level
• Specifically, maintain Oracle Exadata environment on all
  layers including OS level
• Prepare and perform infrastructure automation using
  Ansible and other relevant tools
• Improve DWH and Data Platform stack continuously
  regarding performance & maintainability
• Support transition towards Cloud, especially for lower
  environments
• Consider information security requirements for all
  changes and for existing components

Qualifications/Skills Required:

• University degree in Computer Science or similar,
  technical subject
• Preferably 2 or more years of relevant professional
  experience
• Solid understanding of DWH and Data Platforms
  infrastructure, specifically Oracle Database and HDFS/object
  storage cluster
• Know-how on infrastructure automation (e.g. Ansible)
  advantageous
• Eagerness and pragmatism to work in fast paced
  environment and support Development and Operations teams to ensure
  all environments are reliably usable
• Strong influential and communication skills to liaise
  with team across different demographics and locations
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is a must and
  German know-how will be added advantage.
