the 20 trainee positions is unique, linked
to a department within a specific business area and a working
location. This means that each position has its own specific
responsibilities, challenges and matching profile. 

Who are you?

Whether you want a climate smarter career as an energy
specialist, visionary manager or inspirational project lead in the
energy sector, we offer you these possibilities within
the Trainee Programme.  We are looking for recent
graduates with an academic agree or students who will graduate
before September 2020. You are fluent in English. Skills
in other world languages can be a merit. Furthermore, you are
willing to relocate for possible assignments throughout the
organization. Of course, you identify yourself with our
principles: active, open, positive and safe. 

As a Trainee Associate Strategy Advisor you recognize yourself
in the following qualifications:

• You possess a relevant university degree in Economics,
  Industrial Engineering
• You have first experiences/skills in dealing with complex
  strategic issues, problems and challenges – always seeing the big
  picture and daring to challenge
• You have a high degree of self-motivation and enjoy team work,
  work effectively as part of a virtual team
• You have the ability to establish trust and build relationships
  with various stakeholders inside and outside the organization

What do we expect from you as a Trainee Associate
Strategy Advisor

This position is located in the Strategy department within
Portfolio & Business Development which is responsible for
shaping the overall strategic direction of Business Area Wind,
proactively advising on relevant strategic topics to support
decision makers in steering our renewables business towards the
Vattenfall purpose.

Key responsibilities:

• (Co-)Lead projects and tasks as required to support Business
  Area Wind’s strategic objectives, such as the annual strategy
  process or strategy assignments
• Market intelligence / research in order to identify business
  and market trends, incl. regulatory, suppliers and competitor’s
  developments in a systematic approach, and derive potential
  strategic consequences
• Management support for e.g. conference presentations, company
  events and strategy reporting and follow-up

position is security classed the final candidates might be
subjected to a security vetting process, according to the Swedish
